The Smartie Studio is a podcast I’m developing, scripting, recording, hosting, editing, and launching this summer. The name is a nod to global corporate (SMARTIE goals in corporate are defined as Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound, Inclusive, and Equitable), and our comm lingo around Smart Doll, the initial piece of pop culture that encouraged my flower mind to bloom. The podcast will blend pop culture, lifestyle, and what I call smart talk: thoughtful, editorial, unapologetic connection. I’ve registered thesmartie.studio domain to hold the future experience: essays, photography, process notes, and resources for collectors and creatives alike.

Eleven episodes are in my development queue, and I will be reaching out to the community to connect on including guest perspectives and lived insights as I dig my heels into inclusivity and equity. Adults need to reclaim the notion of imagination and play within our hobbies despite the world spiraling, and this podcast will reflect that.

I have a voice, and I intend to use it.
